Ramona DeNies

Ramona DeNies is Cimarron's Communications Director. She works directly with Cimarron Capital Partners, its clients and affiliates to enhance communication and outreach initiatives. Ramona has over 10 years of experience in non-profit association management and marketing as well as print, radio and television media.

Prior to assuming her current role in 2007, Ramona served as the Acting Executive Director of the Latin American Venture Capital Association (LAVCA). Ramona joined LAVCA in 2002 to create The LAVCA Reporter, the association's popular trilingual newsletter. As a founding staff member, Ramona proved instrumental to LAVCA's strategic and financial viability.

Ramona received her B.A. in English Literature and Latin American Studies from the University of Kansas. She is proficient in Spanish with a working knowledge of Portuguese. Ramona resides in Portland, Oregon.
