Programs and policies to nourish regional private equity

Regional Private Equity Design

Cimarron designs private equity programs that enhance entrepreneurship and local economies:

    Regional Fund of Funds

Cimarron principals designed the concepts that led to the creation of the Oklahoma Capital Investment Board (OCIB), the Arkansas Institutional Fund (AIF) and the Iowa Funds of Funds (IFOF).

Cimarron continues to lead the way in the design of innovative regional private equity programs:

    • We analyze the public policy implications of risk capital enhancement programs and tailor recommendations to local economies.
    • We work with attorneys to develop statutory language that meets constitutional, budgetary and tax requirements for specific states or provinces.
    • We implement complete fund of funds programs.
    • We finance fund of fund programs, based upon client preference, from our own capital sources, through public bids or private syndication.
    • We rigorously screen and select appropriate venture funds prepared to invest in local economies.
    • We manage all fund of funds operations from accounting to record-keeping, reporting and financings.
    • We enhance local entrepreneurial culture through custom programs that build support organizations and networks of skilled entrepreneurs and angel investors.
    • We work at least cost and lowest risk, honoring our role as stewards for investors, taxpayers and stakeholders.
